If you are having internet connectivity issues, there are a few things you can do before logging in to your Managed Velosio Cloud to see if it changes the behavior:
  • Close anything non-essential on your laptop. Web pages, VPN connections, Skype, etc. If it uses internet and you do not need it running, turn it off.
  • Check the notification area to see if there are things running you were not aware of and exit those programs. When you restart there are programs that start and run in the background without you knowing.
    • In the bottom right corner of your laptop, click the small up arrow.
    • Hover your mouse over each of the icons above that arrow and it will tell you what program it is. If it is something you are not using, right click and you typically get a menu where you can Exit the program. (if you are not sure what it is, do not turn it off)
  • When you get the reconnect message, check to see what other users in the house are doing at that moment. Are they streaming video, on a web call, etc.
  • Please ensure proper connectivity to your network. If you are connected via WiFi please ensure strong connection with your WiFi Router or Wireless Access Point. 
  • If your internet is too slow it may create issues when connecting to and staying connected to your environment. We recommend a minimum speed of 20 Megabytes per Second download and 10 Megabytes per Second  upload speed. 
  • If other users using the same internet connectivity as you are having issues please reach out to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or your internal IT.
