Resources - Norm Time Setup

Setup normal working schedule for resources in your company. Associate the Norm Time to the Timesheet Configuration, which generates Resource Capacity Entries for budgeting/planning purposes.

Norm Time Codes are created in Norm Time Setup and each Resource has a Norm time Time Configuration Code set up in the Resource Card > Timesheet fast tab which defines the expected time entry charges on their timecard.
  1. Norm Time is also used in Timesheet Configuration List > Enter the Norm Time Code: From norm time setup, the norm time chosen here will be the basis for creating capacity of the resource. The Update Capacity feature will generate capacity for a resource based on their normal working schedule (norm time). If the norm time assigned to this configuration is 8 hours each day of the week, then update capacity will create normal working hours of 8 hours each day for the resource.
