Reconciliation Account

Client question – What does the Reconciliation Account button do?

Reconciliation button is used to see what will happen if I post.

I select the Reconciliation option on a few accounts…

Enter a General Journal



Select Process, Reconcile

I get every account selected Reconcile – not just what is in my batch…but it tells me the after posting.  This is a bit lengthy if you select this on all accounts.  Once Reconciled, you can unselect the option.




Many clients use this for adjustments from their accountant, so they make sure it is correct when posted
