When opening the Management Reporter Report Designer, you are prompted for your network credentials.

This behavior will occur if credentials are cached from a earlier version of Management Reporter.

To resolve this issue, delete the cached credentials. To do this,

 

  1. Click Start | Run
  2. Enter RegEdit
  3. Browse to (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Dynamics\ManagementReporter\21\CredentialCache)
  4. Right-click on “CredentialCache” and click “Export”
  5. Save to the desktop
  6. Then, delete all lines, except for “(Default)”
