If you need to hide a field for a user by modifying the profile.
Search for Profiles. Select the Profile. Click Copy Profile. And give the new profile a name.
Notice the Profile name is now the new profile. Click Customize Pages.
A new window will open and you can go to the page you want to modify. In our example, we will go to the Vendor card.
Click Vendors, Open
Open a Vendor Card. In our example we are going to move the Ledger Entries to the Navigate button. You can also click on fields to hide them or move them.
Click Done.
And you will see the below message.
Close the browser tab.
Then assign the new profile to the user.
Search for User Settings. Select the user. And change the Role.
