Standard Mode is a way to open up a screen w/o customizations loaded, it is a workaround for errors related to customized screens.
1. Get out of all SL screens except the Main interface
2. Double click on the word “Self” on the bottom of the SL interface
3. Choose Standard from the options, click Exclude Event Code and click ok
4. Open your screen
