Cause: In GL Setup, the option for Automatic Reversing Entries is set to ‘Generate on Closing’.
Resolution: The batch will reverse the next time the module is closed. You cannot trigger it to reverse before then as you cannot release the batch again. If reversing batches are frequently posted to prior periods, after the next period closed, set Automatic Reversing Entries to ‘Generate while Releasing’.
