SUMMARY
After creating a new inventory and class ID, sold items are posting to an error account
DETAILS
The account must have a valid subaccount in order to prevent the item from being posted in the error account.
RESOLUTION
Verify the account/ sub account combination is valid in GL account maintenance. If the validation is turned on for the account this will need to be changed to restrict data entry to the specific account/sub account. You may need to uncheck shared information required, then reselect it after making the changes.
