You can remove the charts/boxes through Personalization.

Select to Personalize while on the main screen


Go to the Chart/Box you want to Hide – it turns Red, select the Red Triangle and you will see Move or Hide…select to Hide



I did both Boxes and it looks like this



Then go back to the top and select Done



The word stays there but the rest goes away
