You notice that Application Server is not sending out the Quick Send email requests. You check the processing log and notice to following:

Trying to retrieve the COM class factory for component with CLSID {3FA7DEB3-6438-101B-ACC1-00AA00423326} failed due to the following error: 80040154
-or-
The email submission to the receiver failed. - The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA


These messages can occur when there is a communication issue between Application Server and Outlook.

Outlook does not have to be open on the Application Server computer for the requests to be emailed. However,  if Outlook is opened before Application Server is started, do not close it. Likewise, if Application Server is started first do not later open Outlook. Doing either of these can cause communication issues between Application Server and Outlook.
