If weeks are not set up in SL, set them up and try the timecard entry.

If weeks are already setup in Dynamics SL, try the following resolution.

1. Navigate to the WebServiceLogs, usually found in ProgramData\Microsoft Dynamics SL folder.  If you see a message similar to the following, proceed to step 2.

Microsoft.Dynamics.SL.ProjectTimecardService.DefaultTimecard    SQLDBException    SM~~16302~~Dynamics SL

Message 16302:  Fatal SQL Error`````  ->  The EXECUTE permission was denied on the object  'GetEmployeeData', database 'PROTOAPP',

schema 'dbo'.  (Consumer:  ::1)

2. Launch Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, right click on the application database and select Properties.  Select Permissions and in the Users or roles frame select the slserviceuser.  In the Permissions for slserviceuser, scroll down on the Explicit tab to Execute and check the Grant box.  Click OK and close.

3. Go back to Web Apps Timecard to see if the message is gone.
