Create new No. Series
Create a new batch and assign new No. series
Create new Statistical Account
Use Alpha or the highest numbers possible so the Statistical accounts appear at the end of the Chart of Accounts and create at least one contra account.
Setup Statistical Accounts as Balance Sheet.
If they are setup as Balance Sheet when year end closing process will not affect the accounts
General Journal to update Statistical balances and use the contra account to offset the account
Note dimensions can be used
