When you try to connect to SL you receive a System Message 10232 Assertion Failure followed by a Programming Bulletproof Error 10262, or you receive a blank Microsoft Dynamics SL home page.
This message will occur when the ‘No Count’ property is selected for Database Connection in SQL Server.
To correct this issue, clear the "No Count" property in SQL Server. To do this, follow these steps:
Open SQL Server Management Studio
Right click on the server and select Properties
Select Connections
Under Default Connection Options, clear the No Count check box
